Minnesota Family Law: Child Care Assistance Restored

Reversing a previous ruling, an order was issued yesterday reinstating daycare assistance in Minnesota.  This ruling is a victory for lower income families that depend upon child care assistance in order to be able to work outside the home.  The judge heard testimony from the Department of Human Services and reasoned that child care assistance is too closely tied to other forms of assistance and that it should continue despite the government shutdown period.
