Faribault Attorney, Jessica A. Hafemeyer

Jessica A. Hafemeyer graduated from Augsburg College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology and minoring in both Sociology and Spanish. She earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2004.

Jessica clerked for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services and Walsten & Te Slaa, P.A. during law school. She joined Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services as a Staff Attorney following graduation where she practiced family and housing law.

In 2007, she and Michelle L. Ibeling formed Ibeling Hafemeyer, Ltd., in Faribault, Minnesota. In June of 2010, Jessica became the sole owner of the firm and renamed it Jessica A. Hafemeyer Law Office, P.A. Her practice concentrates in bankruptcy and family law. She also drafts wills.

Jessica A. Hafemeyer is admitted to practice in all state courts in Minnesota and the United States Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota. Jessica is a qualified neutral under rule 114 of the Minnesota Rules of Practice, allowing her to serve as a mediator and parenting time expeditor in family law cases. Jessica is a member of the Rice County, Fifth District, and Minnesota State Bar Associations. She served on the Board of Directors for the HOPE Center, the domestic violence resource center for Rice County, from 2008 – 2014. She is a past member and past Vice President for the All About Action chapter of Business Network International (BNI) and active in the Faribault Chamber of Commerce.  She is currently on the Northfield Volleyball Club board of directors and serves as a team coach.  Hafemeyer Law Office was named the Faribault Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year for 2015.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports, and being outside.  She also actively volunteers in many different causes in her community.
